Assam AIDS Control Society Recruitment 2022 department has released an advertisement notification for the recruitment of 5 vacancies including Sr. Medical officer, Technical officer, Counselor, Data Manager, and Care Coordinator in the establishment of different Medical colleges in Assam. Eligible and interested candidates may appear for a Walk-in-interview. The posts are initially to be appointed for a period up to 31/03/2023 on a contractual basis and may be extended based on performance appraisal and co-terminus with the project. 1) Name of the Post: Sr. Medical Officer

Category: Open

Qualification & Experience: The candidates should be MD in medicine or any other clinical discipline (First preference)

OR

MBBS with a diploma in any clinical discipline having a minimum of 3 years of experience (Secon preference)

OR

MBBS with a fellowship in HIV medicine/diploma in public health with a minimum of 3 years of experience. The candidates must have a valid registration with the concerned Medical Council

Age limit: Should not be more than 65 years as of 01/04/2022

Salary: Rs.90000/- PM fixed.

2) Name of the Post: Technical Officer (SRL)

Qualification & Experience: The candidates should be Medical graduates with 2 years of laboratory experience. 

OR

M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life sciences with a minimum of two years of experience in Medical Microbiological/immunological laboratory techniques. Candidates' experience in quality assurance will be preferred. 

Age limit: Should not be more than 60 years as of 01/04/2022

Salary: Rs.35000/- PM fixed.

Location: State reference laboratory, Department of Microbiology, Silchar Medical College & Hospital, Silchar.

3) Name of the Post: Counselor

Qualification & Experience: The candidates should be Post graduate degree/diploma in Psychology/Social work/Sociology/Anthropology/Human Development/Nursing with a minimum of 1-year of experience working in the field of counseling in the health sector, preferably in HIV/AIDS after PG degree/Diploma. For people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV), Graduate in Psychology/Social work/Sociology/Anthropology/Human Development/Nursing with a minimum of 1 year of experience after graduation in the field of counseling in the health sector, preferably in HIV/AIDS. Diploma in Computer Application from a govt. recognized institution. Candidates should be proficient to read and write in English and in the local language. 

Age limit: Should not be more than 60 years as of 01/04/2022

Salary: Rs.21000/- PM fixed.

Location: ART Center, Jorhat Medical College & Hospital, Jorhat.

4) Name of the Post: Data Manager

Qualification & Experience: The candidates should be graduates (preferably with a commerce background) with diplomas with computer applications from a recognized institute/university or an "o" level course from DOEACC.

5) Name of the Post: Care Coordinator

Qualification & Experience: The candidates should be a minimum of 12th passed from the recognized institution. The candidates should be PLHIV (People living with HIV). Must have a working knowledge of English and the Local language.

Salary: Rs.18000/- PM fixed.

How to apply for Assam AIDS Control Society Recruitment 2022

1) Eligible and interested candidates may go through an interview.

2) The applicants should come with all the original testimonials. A standard form of application along with a set of self-attested photocopies of all the original documents and a recent passport-size photograph should be submitted before the interview board.

3) The walk-in interview (Written/Viva-voce) will be conducted as per NACO's guidelines.

4) Only shortlisted candidates will be allowed to appear in the written test or viva-voce. They should produce proof of photo identity (Pancard, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID, Aadhar card) to the interview board for appearing in the interview.

5) No electronic devices will be allowed inside the examination hall.

6) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
