1) Name of the Post: Block-Level Fellow

No. of post: 5 (five)

Category: Open

Qualification & Experience: The candidates should be Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Education / Social Work/ Development Studies/ Public Policy / any other relevant domain with at least 8 Years of work experience in relevant sectors. Has considerable experience and expertise in working around the promotion of education, especially primary education. Has experience working in government programmes such as SSA, National Education Mission, NEP implementation, etc. Computer proficiency in data analysis, survey tools, Ms Word, Excel, Powerpoint and relevant software.

Age limit: 40 years as on 1 st September 2022

Location: PMU – BTC Secretariat, Kokrajhar

Note: Candidates within Bodoland Territorial Region will be preferred.

Scope of work: Technical Support in the formulation of advisory, guidelines, and manuals for preparing a perspective plan for BTR Development. In this, the Specialist-Education would work towards improving the overall educational scenario in the BTR. Design a data-driven approach and frameworks for improving the learning outcomes of the students and measure improvements in the overall education sector. Contribute to designing and rolling out strategies for improving the educational infrastructure in the region. 2) Name of the Post: Specialist Education

Qualification & Experience: The candidates should be Graduation in any discipline with at least 1 year of experience Or Post-graduation in any discipline. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and data analysis. Should be proficient in the English language, and have a working knowledge of local dialects of Bodoland and/or Assamese. 

Age limit: 30 years as of 1st September 2022

Location: Block Headquarters – Tamulpur district: 3 (Tamulpur -2, Nagrijuli – 1) Baksa district: 1 (Gobardhana) Udalguri district: 1 (Mazbat)

Note: • Candidates within Bodoland Territorial Region will be preferred. • Candidates may be transferred to any block within the BTR region, as per requirements in the programme. • The number of vacancies may change as per the need in the programme.

Scope of work

1) Support in preparation of a block-level Perspective Plan and Annual Action Plan by following the development objectives, priorities and key principles.

2) Support Line Departments, the office of BDO, and other relevant departments in the planning and execution of welfare programmes.

3) Identify key stakeholders (Govt., Civil Society, Trade/Market players, Community Institutions) whose consultation is required in the planning, implementation and monitoring process; the formation of stakeholder groups.

4) Introduce multi-village activities for improved service delivery, economic growth etc. and also bridge the development deficits in villages.
