Deputy Commissioner Office Darrang department has released an advertisement notification for the recruitment of 16 posts of Mandal (Gr-III) in the establishment of amalgamated of the Deputy Commissioner Darrang. 1) Name of the Post: Mandal (Gr-III)

No. of post: 16 (Sixteen)

Category: UR-5, OBC-9, EWS-1, SC-1

Qualification & Experience: The candidates should be HSLC examination passed or equivalent from any central of State recognized boards. The candidates must possess a valid 6-month "Records Certificate Class Course (RCCC) Training" Certificate from the Assam Surveys and Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati.

Age limit: The candidates must not be less than 18 years of age or not more than 40 years of age as of 01-01-2022. The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years in case of candidates of OBC/MOBC, 5 years in case of candidates of SC, and 10 years for PWD candidates as per Govt. Memorandum No. ABP.6/2016/51 dated 02/09/2020.

Salary scale: Rs.14000/- to Rs.60500/- and Grade Pay of Rs.6200/- per month plus other allowances as admissible as per rules.

1) Eligible and interested candidates may apply through offline mode.

2) The applications should be submitted in the Standard Form published in the Assam Gazette in Part-IX in a sealed envelope addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, Darrang, P.O. & P.S. - Mangaldai, PIN - 784125 and should be submitted in the Land Records Branch, DC's Office, Darrang. Applications should be sent either through the post or to be delivered by hand in the drop box kept for the purpose in the Land Records Branch, Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Darrang on the working days. Post applied for shall be superscribed on the sealed envelope.

3) Self-attested copies of all certificates/mark sheets in support of educational and other qualifications, age, and caste along with other testimonials.

4) Self-attested copy of 6-month RCCC training pass certificate.

5) Three copies of recent passport-size colored photographs duly signed by the candidates across the photographs (One of which should be pasted on the application form).

6) EWS Certificate (in case of reserved category)

7) Valid employment registration certificate.

8) Declaration in Form "A" under rule 5(1) of the Assam Public Service (Application of small family norms in Direct Recruitment) rules, 2019.

9) Disability certificate in case of PWD category candidates issued by the competent authority.

10) The applicants are required to enclose a self-addressed envelope affixing a postal stamp of Rs.5/- along with the applications.

11) The candidates shall furnish their mobile number, WhatsApp number, and email id (If any) on the application form for smooth communication of information relating to the conduct of the examination.

12) Reservation of 33% for women will be kept as per provision out of the total post.

Selection Procedure of DC office Darrang Recruitment 2022

1) The candidates whose applications are accepted as per eligibility criteria will be required to appear in a written examination. The written examination will be 100 marks and the duration will be 3 hours.

2) The date of the written examination will be notified later on and will be published on the notice board of the Deputy Commissioner's office, Darrang, and also on the official website https:/darrang.gov.in. The candidates will be able to download their Admit card for the written examination from the said website. The written examination comprises the following subjects:

• General English 
• Assamese
• General Knowledge & Quantitative Aptitude            Total 100 Marks
• Knowledge of Survey and Settlement

3) The short-listed candidates through written examination will have to appear in a Hand-on Computer Proficiency Test (Practical). The list of the shortlisted candidates and the date of the test will be published in the Notice Board of Deputy Commissioner, Darrang, and also on the official website.

4) The selection will be strictly on a merit basis.

5) If any information declared by the candidates is found to be false at any stage, the candidature will be canceled.

6) Canvassing Directly or Indirectly Shall Disqualify a Candidate.

7) No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in a written examination/computer test.

8) The selection committee already constituted to select the candidates for the aforesaid posts has the right to accept/reject the candidature after proper security of documents/testimonials, etc. with regard to the modalities of selection. The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final and binding.

9) The selected candidates will have to submit an undertaking to the appointing authority that he/she will abide by the New pension scheme of the Government issued vide finance department letter no BW.3/03/Part-I/1 Dated 25/01/2005.
