KASTURBA GANDHI BALIKA VIDYALAYA (KGBV) – Residential School for Girls at Karimganj District under Patherkandi Block has released an advertisement notification for the recruitment of 8 nos Assistant Teachers posts in the establishment of KGBV. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following position for engagement will be on a contractual basis for 11 (eleven) month period. As the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) is Sr. Secondary Level (Class VI to XII) only Girls Students Residential School, it is mandatory for the Warden cum Asstt. Teacher, Head Teacher & Full Time Asstt. Qualification & Experience: The candidates should be a Master's Degree in (Social Science) with B.Ed and Higher Secondary TET qualified. Preference: Experience in Teaching at UP/HS/HSS level.

On non-availability of TET qualified candidate Essential: Master Degree in (Social Science) with B.Ed Preference: Experience in Teaching in UP/HS/HSS level.

2) Application in plain paper stating (i) Name of Applicant (ii) Permanent Address (iii) Address for communication (iv) Contact Telephone /Mobile No. (v) Age on 1st January 2022 (vi) educational qualification (vii) Working Experience along with one attested copy of passport size recent photo and attested copies of certificate / Testimonials relating to Educational Qualification experience, etc. should be submitted to the Office of the District Mission Coordinator SSA, Karimganj, Near Central School, Nilmoni Road, Karimganj latest by 27th September 2022. The name of the post applied should be clearly mentioned on the top of the envelope.

3) List of shortlisted candidates will be circulated on the Notice Board at the District Mission Office, SSA, Karimganj on 28th September 2022. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear in the interview cum verification on 29th September 2022 at 10 A.M at the District Mission Office, Karimganj with all original testimonials. No separate call letter will be Issued. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the verification cum interview.

4) During engagement of teacher (SL.No 1-8): First preference will be given to the candidates qualified In Higher Secondary TET and have B.Ed. On non-availability of Higher Secondary TET candidates having B.Ed will be selected but the selected candidate must qualify for Higher Secondary TET within 3 consecutive TET examinations. In both categories, preference would be given to those having teaching experience.
