Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) Nagaon has released an advertisement notification for the recruitment of 18 vacancies including Head Teacher, and Assistant Teacher posts in the establishment of KGBV. Applications are invited from eligible Female candidates below 45 years of age as of 1st January’2022 for the following positions
for an engagement at the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) in Nagaon district (A Residential Schools for Girls, Class VIXII). The engagement will be purely on a temporary & contractual basis initially for a period of 11 (eleven) months. The contractual
engagement will neither be regularized under Samagra Siksha nor will be absorbed under any Job/Government of Assam in the future. The details of SSA Nagaon Recruitment 2022 are given below.

1) Name of the Post: Full-time Assistant Teacher (Arts)
No. of post: 7 (Seven)
Subject: Political Science - 3, Economics - 3, History - 1

Qualification & Experience: The candidates should be a Master's Degree in the concerned subject with B.Ed. and Higher Secondary TET qualified, Preference: Experience in teaching at UP/HS/HSS level.
On non-availability of Higher Secondary TET qualified candidate. Minimum Educational qualification: Master's degree in (subject) with B.Ed. Preference Experience in teaching at UP/HS/HSS level.
Age limit: 45 years of age as of 1st January 2022.
Salary: Rs.22000/- PM for TET qualified. Rs.20000/- PM for Non-TET.
2) Name of the Post: Full-time Assistant Teacher (Arts)

Age limit: 45 years of age as of 1st January 2022.
Salary: Rs.24000/- PM for TET qualified. Rs.22000/- PM for Non-TET.
How to apply for SSA Nagaon Recruitment 2022
1) One candidate can apply for one position only.
2) Application to be submitted in Prescribed Format as given below as annexure – I along with self-attested all relevant
documents /Passport size Photograph to the District Mission Co-ordinator, SSA, Nagaon during office hours on or before
30th September’2022. Any Postal delay will not be considered. An incomplete application without relevant documents will be
summarily rejected.
3) List of shortlisted candidates with date, venue & time of Verification cum interview will be circulated on the office Notice Board
by the District Mission Co-ordinator, SSA, Nagaon on 12/10/2022 after 2.00 pm. The Shortlisted candidates will have to
appear in the verification cum interview on the date & time to be fixed for this purpose with all original testimonials. No
separate call letters will be issued.
4) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the verification cum interview
5) Upper age relaxation will be applicable as per Govt. Rules.
6) All Posts are reserved for Assamese Medium & Female candidates only

1) Non-TET (Higher Secondary) Candidates may also apply for the above positions subject to fulfillment of essential Qualification.

2) Only in case of Non-availability of TET (Higher Secondary) qualified candidates, Non-TET (Higher Secondary) candidates will
be selected but the selected candidate should qualify for Higher Secondary TET within 3 consecutive TET (Higher Secondary
Examinations. Head Teacher and Full Time Assistant Teachers will have to stay within the school cum Hostel campus on all
working days and on holidays except during the vacation when KGBV children will go home for vacation.
