Assam Police Recruitment 2022, Dibrugarh department has released an advertisement notification for the recruitment of 14 nos of Data Entry Operator vacancies in the establishment of a different police station in Assam. In pursuance of the Govt. Letter No. HMA.199/2019/Pt/70 dated 14.11.2022 and APHQ
Letter No. S-VI/Misc/CCTNS/2020-21/220 dated 16.11.2022 interested eligible candidates from
the jurisdiction of Dibrugarh District are hereby invited to submit their application for the post of
“Data Entry Operator (DEO)” for CCTNS / ICJS Project of Assam Police on

1) Name of the Post: Data Entry Operator
No. of posts: 14 (Fourteen)
Category: Open
Qualification & Experience: The candidates should be Higher Secondary (HSSLC) Examination passed with a Degree/ Diploma in Computer Application from any reputed institute/ organization recognized by AICTE. Candidates should have a typing speed of 30 (thirty) words per minute both English and Assamese.
Preference will be given to those (i) who
have already worked as DEO for CCTNS
on the production of proper documents
(ii) those who have working experience as a DEO
in Govt. an organization for more than
1 (one) year.
Age limit: The age limit as of 1.01.2022 should not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years.
Salary: Fixed Pay Rs. 20,000/- per month annual increment @3%
How to apply for Assam Police Recruitment 2022, Dibrugarh
1) The candidate should submit his/her BIO-DATA in Standard Form of Application published
in the Assam Gazette Part-IX along with self-attested certificates/ documents relating to
qualification, experience, age, and identity proof with two (2) passport-size colored photographs.
2) One copy of Address proof (Aadhaar/ Voter ID/ Driving Licence etc.) shall also be
enclosed with the application.
3) The applications should be submitted at the Office of the Superintendent of Police,
Dibrugarh, Dibrugarh 786001 addressed to the Superintendent of Police, Dibrugarh, or before
15.12.2022 up to 5 PM.
4) There will be no application fees.
5) The candidates for the above-mentioned post will be selected on the basis of a written test
of 60 marks containing multiple-choice questions. The questions for the test will be based
on Computer Skills/ aptitude and General Knowledge (GK). The minimum qualifying
percentage is 50%. Selected candidates will go through typing test and viva-voce.
6) The recruitment will be purely on a contractual basis with no provision of regularization.
7) The selected candidates will be initially engaged for 1 (one) year. The performance
appraisal of the DEO will be reviewed from time to time.
8) Preference will be to local candidates.
9) No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
10) Canvassing in any form shall be treated as disqualification.
